Certification and University Support

Structured preparation for recognised certifications, and private tuition for university modules.

Support towards a qualification

Certification exam preparation and independent tutoring for university modules, including UNISA.

Studying alone is where most people come unstuck, and it is rarely about ability. Distance learning in particular removes the two things that keep people moving: somebody noticing when you fall behind, and being able to ask a question the moment you are confused rather than three days later on a forum.

What this covers

University module support is independent tutoring alongside your registered studies. We are not affiliated with any university and we do not replace your institution's materials. What we do is work through the content with you, at the pace you actually need, until it makes sense.

Certification preparation is structured work towards recognised technology certifications, at a pace that fits around a job.

Why independent tutoring helps

The material is not usually the problem. The problem is that a textbook cannot tell when you have misunderstood something four chapters ago, and a study guide cannot rephrase itself when the explanation does not land.

Most people stuck on a technical module are stuck on one or two specific misunderstandings rather than on the subject as a whole. Finding those quickly is most of the value, and it is nearly impossible to do alone because by definition you do not know which part you have wrong.

There is also the matter of momentum. Distance study fails on schedule far more often than on difficulty. A standing session with someone expecting you is unglamorous and it is often the thing that gets people through.

Preparing for certification exams

Certification exams reward preparation of a specific kind. They test recall under time pressure across a defined syllabus, which is a different skill from understanding the subject, and people who genuinely know the material still fail through unfamiliarity with the format.

So preparation covers both: the content, and how the exam actually behaves. What the question style is, where the time pressure bites, and which topics carry weight relative to the effort of learning them.

Who this suits

  • Distance learning students who have fallen behind and cannot see a way back
  • Anyone repeating a module and not wanting to repeat the experience
  • People working full time and studying part time
  • Staff whose employer wants a certification and who need it to fit around work

An honest note

We are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any university, and we do not do anyone's assignments. What is on offer is teaching, so that the work you submit is genuinely yours.
